Since 2013, Literati has empowered students at St. Xavier’s College Jaipur to read and write with confidence—turning them into men and women of letters.

Literati is our annual showcase of the brightest undergraduate and postgraduate writing talents. Each issue highlights standout essays, poetry, and reviews—while also chronicling the Department of English’s literary initiatives and student achievements over the year.

We believe that reading deeply and writing boldly transforms lives. Through printed editions and our new Literati Blog, we fuel that transformation year-round, inviting students to share their perspectives on books, student life, films, and beyond.

Now entering our twelfth edition (2024–25), Literati has spent more than a decade celebrating student voices. With each issue—and every blog post—we build a living archive of our department’s literary journey.
